West Bend Theatre Company is pleased to announce John Ehlke, an award-winning photographer and videographer, has been added to its board of directors, following an unanimous vote at its recent board meeting.
“I look forward to helping out in the ways I can and am excited to get going,” Ehlke said.
Ehlke is the production manager for the City of West Bend, a role he’s held since 2019. Previously, Ehlke spent nine years as the photo editor of the Daily News in West Bend, Wisconsin. He was won several awards for his photography and for his video production.
Ehlke said he wanted to be on the West Bend Theatre Company’s board of director so he can “help an organization in West Bend the ways I can.”
“I love being connected to the West Bend community and would really like to use my time and talents in the way I can to help elevate an already great organization,” Ehlke said. “I love to see anything in West Bend succeed. I think by doing so, it only helps strengthen our great city. Having a wonderful theater company putting on great shows throughout the year is something I know I can help out with and, hopefully, look forward to doing so. “
Ehlke is a graduate of Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. His family includes his wife, Melissa, who works as a disc jockey at B93 FM in Milwaukee as the weekday midday host, and his two daughters, Molly and Lucy.
