The West Bend Theatre Company is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, governed by a Board of Directors.
The board (all of whom are volunteers) is charged with governance of the organization, setting policies and procedures, managing business operations, budgeting, and strategic planning for the future.
The Artistic Director sits outside of the board, but advises the board on show selection and marketing of the company and its shows, hiring creative staff members.
An advisory council of valued past or future board members includes Don Pountain, Andrea Gehrke and Ann Knetter The advisory council supports the organization with input and feedback, ideas, volunteer time and suggestions.
We welcome resumes of community leaders interested in helping to grow and develop the organization.
If you have a passion for theatre and want to get involved in the behind-the-scenes work, becoming a member of the board of directors or the advisory committee may be for you.
