CALENDAR GIRLS & FLANAGAN'S WAKE
West Bend Theatre Company will be holding auditions for TWO shows on the same night, at the same place and time, January 9 & 10 at 6:30 PM at West Bend Masonic Center.
CALENDAR GIRLS will audition for 9 females and 4 males on the MAIN FLOOR. FLANAGAN'S WAKE will audition for two males on the LOWER LEVEL. Auditions for Flanagan's Wake will consist of readings from the script and improv acting games. Flanagan's Wake has posted audition materials and an online registration for auditions at Flanagan's Wake Audition Info - West Bend Theatre Co Flanagan's Wake is an interactive comedy with Music for Saint Patrick's Day. The audience is invited to mourn, toast and roast dearly departed Flanagan, along with Mother Flanagan, Mayor Martin O'Doul, Father Damon Fitzgerald and other citizens of Grapplin, County Sligo, Ireland. Rehearsals begin end of JANUARY with MARCH Performances.
HOW WILL THE AUDITIONS WORK?
Both shows are seeking adult males in nearly identical age ranges of age 20 to age 60 plus. Calendar Girls is seeking Nine Women and Four Men. Flanagan's Wake is seeking two men.
Rather than limit actors to choosing to audition for just one of the two shows, we wanted to make it easy for them to audition for both shows if they like.
When Actors arrive, they will be asked to register online, and will be assigned an audition number. That registration will allow them to choose to audition for one or both shows on the same night, or on separate nights if they wish.
The directors will cooperate with each other on casting, and will give actors the opportunity to participate in the show best suited to their talents.
